The Urgent Care Centre is located in Newstead, Tasmania on Elphin Road. A much sought after suburb of Launceston with a population of approximately 5000, Newstead is located 3km east of the city centre.
Sitting between the suburbs of East Launceston and Norwood, Newstead is well serviced with supermarkets, sporting facilities, schools, eateries and retail outlets.
The Newstead community is also well serviced in terms of health providers. Contained within the Newstead Health Nexus along 165 – 169 Elphin Road, the Urgent Care Centre is proud to work closely with Terry White Pharmacy, Newstead X-Ray, Launceston Pathology and Newstead Medical. We’re also supported by the amazing nurses of the Community Rapid Response Service and our nearby partners at the Kings Meadows Medical Practice.
