Presentation to Urgent Care Centre will attract a facility fee of $170.00.

This is a flat fee regardless of the service provided and is payable upon arrival at the centre.

This facility fee is not covered by Medicare or health funds.

All other fees billed at the end of a patient admission to the Urgent Care Centre, which differ due to the type of service or complexity of procedure provided, will be rebated in full by Medicare.

We accept Afterpay, in addition to all major credit and debit cards, and EFT payments.

X-Rays provided by our partners at X-Ray Newstead will incur a $40 gap fee unless on a concession card and $80 gap fee on weekends ($40 for concession-card holders) though all Pathology services provided by Launceston Pathology will be bulk-billed for Medicare cardholders. Ultrasound services are only available on weekdays. Some ultrasound services are bulk-billed for concession-card holders, though demand may limit availability.

Please note that X-Ray Newstead operate at reduced hours of 11am-3pm on Saturdays and 11am-2pm on Sundays.
