Chest Pain and Breathing Difficulties

Chest Pain and Breathing Difficulties

Chest pain and/or shortness of breath

The Urgent Care Centre can provide treatment for common conditions which cause chest pain and/or shortness of breath, with our doctors and nurses equipped to diagnose and treat a number of urgent but non life-threatening conditions. All chest pain will be triaged by our nursing staff to see if safe to treat in Urgent Care.

Chest pain may also be a symptom of a heart attack. If your chest pain is severe and getting worse – call 000 immediately and ask for an ambulance.

Breathing difficulties can be caused by many different conditions which range in severity. If you are having significant difficulty breathing (including choking, gasping) call 000 immediately and ask for an ambulance.
